Gallmetzer HealthCare AG takes responsibility for the environment and climate through concrete measures in energy sourcing, building design and product development. At the core of this effort is a holistic approach to sustainability, aligned with international standards and continuously evolving.

Gallmetzer HealthCare AG covers 100% of its electricity needs with certified green energy.
For gas consumption, the company uses TÜV-certified GreenGas, with CO₂ emissions offset through investments in verified climate protection projects (e.g. Gold Standard, Verified Carbon Standard).

The company is currently evaluating a full transition to renewable energy – including the installation of its own photovoltaic system. Technical documentation and expert assessments are already in preparation.
The goal is to generate part of the future energy supply directly from solar power.

The company building was designed with climate- and environmentally conscious criteria.
Green areas inside and around the site, as well as a nature-inspired outdoor layout, help improve the local microclimate. Sealed surfaces were reduced to promote natural rainwater infiltration.

Promis S.R.L. develops sustainable oral care products that combine ecological materials with scientifically proven effectiveness. Packaging is made from FSC® Mix-certified cardboard, and the tubes use biobased plastic derived from sugarcane. The toothbrushes are made of up to 90% plant-based raw materials, while dental floss and cases are produced entirely from recycled plastic.

Gallmetzer HealthCare also promotes environmental protection in shipping: recycled cardboard boxes and reused or pre-existing filling material are used to avoid energy-intensive recycling processes and significantly reduce waste.
