The addition of a Qualified Person supports the further development of pharmaceutical quality assurance structures
Bolzano, 15 October 2026. Intermedical Pharma, a company within Gallmetzer HealthCare S.p.A., has strengthened its pharmaceutical expertise. Since 12 October 2026, the company has had a Qualified Person (QP) in place. This marks a further step in reinforcing its professional and organisational structures for pharmaceutical quality assurance.
Within the applicable regulatory framework, the Qualified Person plays a key role in ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical quality requirements. Statutory responsibilities include, in particular, the certification of medicinal product batches as part of duly authorised manufacturing and release processes.
For Intermedical Pharma, the addition of this function is an important element in the continued development of its internal quality processes and the organisational foundations for future pharmaceutical activities.
At Group level, this step is part of the ongoing development of the Dental, Pharma and Healthcare business areas. Gallmetzer HealthCare aims to strengthen the expertise of its companies, further develop operational structures and support the Group’s long-term development.
